Ibiza Kit Car

In 1999 Tecnitoys released a new version of the Seat Ibiza Kit Car, with Safari Rally Kenya livery. Like the Tyco model, it came without lights and with rear-wheel drive, although in this case with a pivoting guide, but unlike previous versions, it stands out for its front bumper and the large black exterior exhaust pipe. The car is yellow with #15, "REPSOL" decoration copied from the 1998 Kenya Safari Rally, and the names of O. Gómez and M. Marti on the window. The model is a replica of the real car, although the exhaust pipe was likely an addition by Tecnitoys.

Oriol Gómez and Marc Martí participated in the 1998 Kenya Safari Rally with a Seat Ibiza Kit Car Evo2 from the Seat Sport team, although they had to retire due to a suspension problem. The Seat Ibiza Kit Car EVO2 was designed and developed during 1998, at SEAT's Technical Center in Martorell, as a direct evolution of the 1996-1997 Ibiza Kit Car EVO1. Tecnitoys replicated this vehicle for their model reference 6029.
