Xsara

In 2007, Tecnitoys commercialized two new versions of the Citroën Xsara. One of them in a SCALEXTRIC PRO PACK reference 5025 that came in a cardboard box with the car disassembled and various accessories: 38º tilting guide, ultra-light bodywork 24.5gr., Pro pinions and interchangeable aluminum crowns, calibrated Pro axles and ball bearings, Pro aluminum rims and Pro rallied tires, Pro strips, screws. It has four-wheel drive and comes without lights. The model with #11 and decoration of "SANTANDER" and "GRUPO LABARO" was a replica of the car that Dani Sordo and Marc Martí drove in Argentina in 2006.

The Citroën Xsara WRC debuted in 2001 as the first rally car developed entirely by Citroën Sport for the World Rally Championship. Equipped with a 2.0 turbo engine, all-wheel drive and sequential gearbox, it stood out for its balance and reliability. Over the following years it evolved in aerodynamics, suspension and transmission, reaching its maximum maturity between 2003 and 2005, and adapting in 2006 to regulatory changes without losing competitiveness, becoming one of the most successful WRCs of its era. In 2006, Dani Sordo and Marc Martí, driving a Citroën Xsara WRC, achieved fifth place in the 26th Rally of Argentina. Tecnitoys reproduced this car for its PRO model reference 5025.
