In 1989 Exin echoed the successes that BMW was achieving in the rally circuit and marketed 4 versions of the BMW M3 throughout the year with references 4090 to 4093. All came with a closed rear-wheel drive motor. This yellow model with reference 4091, bears "Schweppes" #28 livery and a decal corresponding to the 1985 Costa Brava rally. The model does not correspond to any real car, since it was not available at that rally.
