In 1987, Exin marketed a new Lancia 037 model with reference 4082, #2 and "Seven UP" livery. In previous years, Exin had already commercialized several versions of the Lancia 037. This white and green model comes with an enclosed motor and the Rally Costa Brava 1986 decal. Exin was inspired by the Lancia Rally 037 driven by Salvador Servià and Jordi Sabater in the Rally Costa Brava 1986.

The Lancia Rally 037 was a car developed for Group B of the FIA World Rally Championship, debuting in 1982. Designed by Abarth and manufactured based on the Lancia Montecarlo with Pininfarina bodywork, it featured an Abarth Roots-type engine (Volumex) and double wishbone suspension. In the 1986 Rally Costa Brava, Salvador Servià and Jordi Sabater participated with a Lancia 037 #2 in green and white with "Seven Up" livery, finishing in third position. Clearly, this car served as inspiration for Exin's model.
