In 1986 Exin released a new version of the Lancia 037, with reference 4076. The chassis also shows the previous references 4073/74/76. This white and blue model with "Rothmans" livery comes with a closed engine and the Rally Costa Brava 1985 decal. The model corresponds to the Lancia Rally 037 driven by Salvador Servià / Jordi Sabater in the Rally Costa Brava 1985.

The Lancia Rally 037 was a car developed for Group B of the FIA World Rally Championship, debuting in 1982. Designed by Abarth and manufactured based on the Lancia Montecarlo with Pininfarina bodywork, it featured an Abarth Roots-type engine (Volumex) and double wishbone suspension. In the Rally Costa Brava 1985, Salvador Servià and Jordi Sabater participated with a Lancia 037 #4, blue and white with "Rothmans" livery, having to abandon due to a problem with the engine. Although the number doesn't match the Exin model, the livery is quite similar, so clearly Exin was inspired by this car for their model.
