Christian Gilbert

Christian Gilbert, known as “Tilber”, is a rally co-driver whose career includes numerous national and international events. During the 1980s he partnered several French drivers, including Guy Fréquelin, Jean-Claude Andruet, Jean-Claude Nicolas, Bernard Béguin and Bruno Saby.

With Fréquelin he competed in 1985 in the Opel Manta 400 during the season in which the driver won the French Rally Championship. Gilbert remained active in competition in later years and also took part in historic rallies. In 2025 he competed on the Rally Costa Brava as part of the European Historic Rally Championship.
