Andrea Zanussi

Andrea Zanussi is an Italian rally driver who was prominent during the 1980s. In 1982, with Arnaldo Bernacchini as co-driver, he won Bulgaria’s Rally Sliven-Albena in a Fiat 131 Abarth.

One of the most important stages of his career came in 1986 as part of the Peugeot Italia programme. With Paolo “Popi” Amati as co-driver and a Peugeot 205 Turbo 16, he won events including the Rally della Lana and Rally Piancavallo and challenged for the Italian Rally Championship. In 1988 he achieved another notable victory, winning the Targa Florio alongside Amati in a BMW M3.
