Mike Mike

Mike Winkel is an American co-driver and driver linked to North American off-road racing, particularly to Hummer's programs in desert competitions. He is known for competing alongside Rod Hall in different editions of the Baja 1000 and Baja 500, being part of the official Rod Hall Racing team. During the 2000s, he participated with specially prepared Hummer H3 versions in the Production and Stock Full categories, standing out more for consistency and endurance than for absolute speed, in line with the team's philosophy. He was also involved in development and promotion programs for Hummer in long-distance competitions. Although he is not a media figure of Hall's caliber, his name appears associated with several outstanding class results in Baja, being part of the team's stable core during that period.
