Maurizio Verini

Maurizio Verini (Riolo Terme, Italy, 9 July 1943) is a former Italian rally driver particularly associated with Fiat and Abarth during the 1970s. He competed in cars including the Fiat 124 Abarth Rally and Fiat 131 Abarth in national and international championships.

In 1974 he became Italian Rally Champion in the Fiat 124 Abarth. The following year he won the European Rally Championship in the same model, his main international title. He also competed in the World Rally Championship and finished second overall on the 1973 Rallye Sanremo.
