Diego Vallejo Folgueira

Diego Vallejo Folgueira (Meira, Lugo, Spain, 1973) is a Spanish rally co-driver with a long career in the Spanish Tarmac Rally Championship. He began competing in the 1990s and quickly stood out for his consistency and expertise in pace note reading and race management. Throughout his career he has partnered primarily with his brother, driver Sergio Vallejo, with whom he achieved some of his greatest sporting successes. Together they won the Spanish Tarmac Rally Championship in 2009, driving a Porsche 911 GT3, an unusual choice for the championship but highly competitive on tarmac stages. The pair accumulated numerous victories and podium finishes in national championship rounds, particularly in rallies in northern Spain. In addition to competing alongside Sergio Vallejo, Diego has also worked as a co-driver for other drivers and has been involved in various projects within Spanish motorsport, and is regarded as one of the most experienced co-drivers on the national scene.
