Timur Timerzyanov
Rússia Timur Timerzyanov (Kazan, Russia, 1987) is a Russian rallycross driver considered one of the leading figures of the discipline during the 2010s. After starting out in karting, he was crowned European Super1600 champion in 2010 with Set Promotion. The following year he stepped up to the Supercar category with Hansen Motorsport and, driving Citroën models, claimed the European titles of 2012 and 2013. With the creation of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in 2014 he went on to compete regularly in the new top-tier category with teams including Peugeot-Hansen, World RX Team Austria, STARD and GRX Taneco. His best world championship season came in 2019, when he took his only World RX victory at Spa-Francorchamps and finished fifth in the final championship standings.
