Àlex Romaní Balcells

Àlex Romaní Balcells is a Catalan rally co-driver and organiser. In 1993 he won the Rally Caja Cantabria alongside Jesús Puras. Between 1997 and 2000 he was Luis Climent's co-driver in his international programme, and in 2000 they competed in the works Škoda Motorsport team's Škoda Octavia WRC.

In 2002 Romaní also partnered Dani Solà on several events in a Citroën Saxo S1600, including the Rally Rías Baixas, where they finished second, during the season in which Solà won the Junior World Rally Championship. That same year Romaní founded Club RallyClassics, an organisation dedicated to historic vehicle events. He is also the author of the book Manual de rallyes.
