Risto Pietiläinen

Risto Pietiläinen (25 July 1963) is a Finnish rally co-driver best known for his long partnership with Harri Rovanperä. He made his World Rally Championship debut in 1993 and partnered Rovanperä in programmes with SEAT, Peugeot, Mitsubishi and Škoda.

His main WRC victory came on the 2001 Swedish Rally, where the crew won in a Peugeot 206 WRC. After his period with Rovanperä, Pietiläinen also competed with drivers including Kristian Sohlberg, Janne Tuohino and Kalle Rovanperä. He accumulated 110 WRC starts and his last recorded World Championship appearance was Rally Finland 2019, as Jouni Virtanen's co-driver.
