Chris Patterson

Chris Patterson (born 6 September 1968) is a British-Irish rally co-driver with a long career in the World Rally Championship (WRC). Regarded as one of the most experienced navigators of his generation, he made his world championship debut in 1993 at Rally Catalunya and competed for nearly three decades alongside numerous drivers and factory teams. Throughout his career he has taken part in more than 140 WRC events, achieving 12 podium finishes and over a hundred stage victories. One of his greatest successes came in 2006, when he claimed the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) as co-driver to Qatari driver Nasser Al-Attiyah in a Subaru Impreza. Patterson has partnered many prominent drivers in international rallying, including Petter Solberg, Kris Meeke, Gwyndaf Evans and Khalid Al Qassimi. In 2010 he joined Solberg's team following the retirement of Phil Mills, competing alongside the Norwegian in the WRC with a Citroën C4 WRC and later with Ford. During the 2010s he continued to compete in the world championship under various programmes, including outings with Citroën and M-Sport Ford. His career is defined by his extensive experience across different championships and categories in international rallying.
