Ricardo Muñoz
Espanya Ricardo Muñoz Llorca, known in competition as "Rizos" Muñoz, was a Spanish driver, co-driver, and motoring journalist specializing in rallies. He began competing as a co-driver and achieved notable results alongside Bernard Tramont: they won the 1967 Rías Bajas Rally. He later moved to the driver's seat. In 1970 he competed in several events with a SEAT 850 Sport Coupé in the RACE Rally of Spain. His greatest successes came in the Desafío Simca, a competition he won consecutively in 1971 and 1972 driving a Simca 1000 Rallye. He later became an official Citroën driver and competed with the Citroën GS; in 1977 he finished second in the Trofeo Nacional de Turismos de Serie (National Production Touring Car Trophy). After his sporting career, he went on to have a long career as a motoring journalist.
