Stirling Moss (London, 17 September 1929 – 12 April 2020) was a British racing driver who competed in Formula One, sports cars, touring cars and rallies. In the Formula One World Championship he achieved 16 victories and finished runner-up in four consecutive seasons, from 1955 to 1958, driving for teams and manufacturers including Mercedes, Maserati, Vanwall, Lotus and Cooper.

In 1955 he won the Mille Miglia in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. A serious accident at Goodwood in 1962 ended his professional career at the highest level, although he later made occasional returns to competition. In 1968 he shared a Lancia Fulvia HF with Claudio Maglioli and Innes Ireland in the Nürburgring Marathon de la Route.
