Colin McRae (Lanark, Scotland, 5 August 1968 – 15 September 2007) was a British rally driver and the son of fellow rally driver Jimmy McRae. He made his World Rally Championship debut on the 1987 Swedish Rally in a Vauxhall Nova and later joined Subaru’s programme. He became British Rally Champion in 1991 and 1992.
In 1995 he won the World Rally Championship with Subaru, becoming the first British driver and, at the time, the youngest driver to win the title. He achieved 25 WRC victories and 42 podiums and later also competed with Ford, Citroën and Škoda. Outside the WRC he took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Dakar Rally. He died in 2007 in a helicopter accident together with his son and two other people.
