Alister Ritchie McRae

Alister McRae is a Scottish rally driver, the son of Jimmy McRae and brother of Colin McRae. He began in motorcycle trials and motocross before moving into rallying. In 1995 he became British Rally Champion in a Nissan Sunny GTi with David Senior as co-driver.

He later competed as a works Hyundai driver, taking part in the Accent WRC programme, and moved to Mitsubishi Ralliart in 2002. In later years he competed in the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship. In 2011 he won the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship with Proton and co-driver Bill Hayes.
