Mario Mannucci
Itàlia Mario Mannucci (Milan, 31 May 1932 – Monfalcone, 17 December 2011) was an Italian rally co-driver, best known for his long partnership with Sandro Munari. Together they formed one of Lancia’s leading crews during the 1970s, first with the Fulvia HF and later with the Stratos HF.
With Munari he won the 1972 Monte Carlo Rally, before the creation of the World Rally Championship, and the 1973 Rally Costa Brava. In the WRC they went on to win Sanremo and Rideau Lakes in 1974 and Monte Carlo in 1975. Mannucci later continued competing with other drivers and in 1979 won the Rally Targa Florio alongside Adartico Vudafieri in a Fiat 131 Abarth. His career became closely associated with Lancia’s period of major international success in rallying during the 1970s.
