Rui Adelino Pinto Madeira

Rui Madeira is a Portuguese rally driver associated with Almada. He began competing in 1989 in a SEAT Marbella. In 1993 and 1994 he won the Portuguese Group N championship and in 1995 captured the FIA Production Cup, becoming the first Portuguese driver to win an FIA title.

In 1996 he won the Rally de Portugal and the following year finished sixth overall on Rally Catalunya, a World Rally Championship event. During his career he also competed in Mitsubishi and Subaru models and has continued to take part in rally events in later years.
