Edward Walter Lund, born in Chorlton in 1913, was a British driver active mainly during the 1950s, closely linked to the MG marque and its official competition programme. A specialist in endurance events, he took part in several editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a member of the official MG team. Throughout his career he competed primarily with models derived from the MG A and other lightweight sports cars from the brand, contributing to MG's prestige in international competitions during the 1950s. He died in Thornton Cleveleys in 1978.
