Pierre-Louis Loubet

Pierre-Louis Loubet (Bastia, Corsica, February 18, 1997) is a French rally driver, son of fellow driver Yves Loubet, 1989 European Rally Champion. He began his career in national and international competitions before achieving his greatest success in 2019, when he won the WRC2 championship alongside co-driver Vincent Landais, driving a Škoda Fabia R5. He later moved up to the top tier of the World Rally Championship, competing with Hyundai vehicles and with M-Sport's Ford Puma Rally1. In 2023 he contested a full season with M-Sport, though it was marked by accidents, mechanical issues, and inconsistent results. In 2024 he returned to the WRC2 category, where he now competes with M-Sport driving a Ford Fiesta Rally2, co-driven by Loris Pascaud. Regarded as a particularly fast driver on gravel, his career at the top level has been shaped by a lack of consistency.
