Pierre Landereau

Pierre Landereau was a French rally-raid driver and co-driver, known in the Paris-Dakar paddock by the nickname “Le Parrain”. He competed both on motorcycles and in cars. In 1984 he finished 14th in the Dakar motorcycle classification on a Yamaha TT600.

In 1988 he contested the event as Jacques Laffite’s co-driver. The crew competed in the Foltène team’s number 220 Porsche 953 and did not finish the rally. Landereau died in 2011.
