Jean Pierre Gérard Jaussaud

Jean-Pierre Gérard Jaussaud (Caen, 3 June 1937 – Hérouville-Saint-Clair, 22 July 2021) was a French single-seater and endurance racing driver. He won the Monaco Formula 3 Grand Prix in 1968, became French Formula 3 champion in 1970 and finished runner-up in the European Formula 2 Championship in 1972.

He contested thirteen editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and achieved two outright victories. In 1978 he won alongside Didier Pironi in the Renault-Alpine A442B and in 1980 won again with Jean Rondeau in the Rondeau M379B; Rondeau thereby became the only constructor to win Le Mans while driving a car bearing his own name. In 1987 Jaussaud also won the European Touring Car Championship round at Nogaro with Fabien Giroix. After his racing career he worked as a driving instructor.
