Beny Fernández

Beny Fernández (Vigo, 4 January 1950) is a former Spanish rally driver considered one of the defining figures of Galician motorsport. He competed at the highest national level throughout the 1970s and 1980s, achieving several runner-up finishes in the Spanish Rally Championship, most notably in 1981 and 1983, as well as a distinguished fourth place in the 1977 European Rally Championship. Over the course of his career he drove iconic vehicles including the BMW 2002, Ford Escort RS1800, Fiat 131 Abarth, Porsche 911 SC and Opel Manta 400.
