Sauro Farnocchia

Sauro Farnocchia is an Italian rally co-driver who was associated with Andrea Aghini for much of his career. On the 1988 Rallye Sanremo they competed in a Peugeot 309 GTI and won Group N, finishing twelfth overall.

The crew’s main World Rally Championship success came on the 1992 Rallye Sanremo, which they won outright in a Lancia Delta HF Integrale. They also finished third in Catalunya in 1992, Portugal in 1993 and the Tour de Corse in 1995. In 1994 they won the Rali Vinho da Madeira in a Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD, a round of the European Rally Championship.
