Josep “Pep” Bassas (Seva, Barcelona – 28 June 2008) was a Spanish rally and circuit driver, particularly associated with the RACC and BMW. He made his debut in 1978, became Catalan rally champion in 1984 and won the 1985 Spanish Group N Championship in a Renault 11 Turbo.
From 1986 he developed a long sporting relationship with BMW. In the BMW M3 he became Spanish Asphalt Rally Champion in 1989 and finished runner-up in 1988, 1990 and 1991. He also achieved notable results in circuit racing: he was runner-up in the Spanish Touring Car Championship in 1991, third in 1992 and 1994, and Spanish Touring Car Champion in 1997. He died in 2008 after a long illness.
