Andreas Bakkerud

Andreas Bakkerud (Bergen, Norway, 10 October 1991) is a Norwegian rallycross driver, considered one of the leading figures of the discipline over the past decade. He claimed the European Rallycross Championship in the Super1600 category in 2011 and 2012, before stepping up to the top-tier Supercar class. He has driven as a factory driver for teams including Olsbergs MSE, Hoonigan Racing Division alongside Ken Block, EKS Audi Sport and RX Cartel. In the FIA World Rallycross Championship he achieved seven victories and finished as runner-up in the 2019 World Championship. In 2021 he won the European Rallycross Championship RX1, his third European title. He has also competed in Nitro Rallycross and Extreme E, remaining one of the most popular and charismatic figures in international rallycross.
